I do not reply to all queries, but I will add your
question to this page if necessary.
Q. "I was wondering why you recommended the lifetime gold without matrix upgrade at MatrixMails."
A. The matrix costs additional money, and is profitable only if you have referrals who upgrade (not necessarily to matrix). This is why I do not recommend the matrix to people having few or no referrals. The gold membership, on the other hand, is *enthusiastically* recommended to everyone.
Q. "Why don't you join xxxx [PROGRAM NAME REMOVED]? It pays 3 cents per click, and has lots of links!"
A. I wonder whom these rich advertisers are, who want to pay me 3 cents for a simple click.
Q. "Do most PTC sites show you who is in your downline? I never tried getting referrals so I don't know anything about such a feature."
A. Yes. Except at MatrixMails, where, for privacy reason, you need to enter your referral's email address to check whether the person is in your downline.
Q. "Would you be interested in making a referral exchange?"
A. Sorry, I do not do swap.
Q. "When signing up at a paid-to program, will choosing all of the e-mail types or none at all make a difference in how many e-mails we receive?"
A. It depends. If advertisers purchase emails targeted by interests, this will make a difference. So, if you want to receive as many emails as possible, you should choose as many interests as possible - unless, of course, if you are allowed to choose only a limited number of interests.
Q. "Another question: Is it ok for members from non-search countries to pick the "searches" option when signing up at a paid-to program?"
A. No. If you are not from one of these "search-friendly countries", please do not choose the "searches" option; otherwise it would be considered as cheating, and your account would probably get deleted.
Q. "I am trying to use your link to sign up under you at ValePTR but it is not working. I would like to take advantage of your upgrade offer."
A. Thank you for your interest, but the offer is not available any more since July 2009 - I am short of money! [The link should be working, however, since I still get signups.]
Q. "Are there any reputable programs out there which allow PTR users to trade referrals? For example, if I sign up under someone, he can join one of my programs under me?"
A. The idea sounds great, but it is hard to get it work properly, because most people only want others to join under them, only want to see a big promoter in their downline to bring in a bunch of indirect referrals. In the past, I tried several downline clubs - all of them had the best intention to make it a success -, but, at the end, I left them all.
I believe that the best way to get active referrals is to advertise. To let others know why you enjoy your favorite programs.
Q. "Why are you going to stop offering the upgrade help at ValePTR? Is there anything wrong with them?"
A. If there is anything wrong at all, it is with my wallet. I can no longer afford to offer hundreds of thousands of hits. ValePTR is doing great, by the way, improving itself every day.
Q. "I joined Deep-C-Links under you because you said there were 70+ permanent 0.1c banners. But why don't I see any of them?"
A. Thank you so much for your trust in me. The big bunch of 0.1c banners is in the affiliate-page section; you probably were looking in the paid-to-click section.
