Newest questions at bottom.

Q. "Tell me please big and fast paying sites that really pay."
A. You will not find many program names in my place, but they are all "safe" - which is essential in paid-to.

Q. "How can I earn more?"
A. Choose the best programs. Build a good downline.

Q. "Please tell me how to build a good downline!!!"
A. Advertise. Advertise. Advertise.

Q. "I have no money to spend in advertising. What should I do?"
A. You could redeem your earnings for advertising. But pay attention to where and what you advertise: don't throw away your hard-earned money. (You might also like to check Papy's tutorial: How to build a downline without spending a penny?)

Q. "I am going to spend $10 in advertising. Am I going to get many referrals?"
A. It depends on where and what you advertise.

Q. "I am in a program that offers good earnings and pays promptly. But the program is far from popular. Why?"
A. There might be something you are not aware of yet.

Q. "Is E-gold safe? I have heard that people got their account hacked."
A. E-gold is in some sense safer than PayPal: it is protected by a password AND by computer IP. Of course, you need to be extremely careful with your password. Also, make sure there is no spyware sitting in your computer.

Q. "I want to get a website like yours. What should I do?"
A. You can get one for free at www.freewebs.com (quite good service).

Q. "I have recently started to advertise, but it is VERY hard to get referrals. Where do you get the best advertising results?"
A. I usually advertise in the programs I am a member of; it is also my way to support these programs.

Q. "How do you stay a member of so many sites? I mean, how do you keep up with all the ads?"
A. With my fingers (for clicking) and eyes (for reading). Thank you for your care.

Q. "I love your website. How could I get a similar one for myself?"
A. You can get one for free at www.freewebs.com.

Q. "You have banners at the bottom of each page. What is the price?"
A. If you mean by the price of the space, I regret that it is not for sale. It was created for friends, and is not a commercial space.

Q. "I am a new user and I want to help me in this business. You have introduced me 10 sites, but do you know more sites that I can earn more money?"
A. I only stick to the few programs in which I have full trust. Whichever programs you join, please make some investigations before starting to click. Also, a good way to make more money is to build a good downline in a good program.

Looking for a reliable site?
Papy recommends TesasTeaMails.

Q. "Hello. Is there an easier way to earn at GPTR programs? It is too difficult to click all those links one by one and waiting for the timer times out."
A. Hi! I am afraid I can be of no help.

Q. "What do abbreviation PTR, GPTR and PTP stand for? Do we need to have referrals to get paid?"
A. PTR = GPTR = (Get) Paid To Read. PTP = Paid To Promote. You do not need to have referrals to get paid, though referrals help you to reach payout faster.

Q. "I am very new to this... What is a downline, and how do I get this?"
A. When people join a program using your referral link, they are in your downline. You earn some commission for this, which is nice. There is no easy way to build a downline. You might like to check the first questions on this page.

Q. "I signed up at some PTR programs which send emails worth of $100 or even $1000. Are they going to pay?"
A. If you believe your click is worth $100 and/or Santa is active in December, the answer could well be yes.

Q. "How do you fund your e-gold account?"
A. I do not fund my e-gold account; I use it to receive and spend money. When it reaches a certain amount, I use an online broker to transfer money into my bank account.

Q. "Regarding getting referrals, should I invest some money in 'get paid to sign up' programs to build my downline?"
A. No. Such members will not be active - you will be losing money, however cheap it may look to you.

Q. "I would be interested in chatting with you. What is your ICQ?"
A. Thank you for the invitation. I would be flattered to get in touch. But I spend a lot of time in clicking emails, visiting forums, and improving my site, there is seldom room left for chatting. I do have you in mind regularly, however.

Q. "I just want to comment on the sites you feature. How come [... SITE NAME edited] and [... SITE NAME edited] have almost the same FAQs and forms?"
A. Most sites have the same FAQs and forms, because it is part of the scripts when a paid-to site is purchased. Each program owner can/should make necessary modifications to reflect the site's own features. But...

Q. "You tell people how much money you have made with some of the PTR emails. How much of it did you put into your bank account?"
A. Thank you for your care about my financial situation. If you are still interested: I re-invest a good part of my PTR earnings back into PTR.

Q. "I have a PayPal account and I want to sign up for paid-to-read, but I do not remember the email address I used for PayPal. How do I find that out?"
A. They have an automated email address recovery service at PayPal. Just click the "Forgot your email address?" link on their front page.

Q. "Do you start every day with a particular program, and work say from #1 to #10? Or do you give each program the same amount of your time every day?"
A. We all have our own preference. I spend more time on programs I enjoy the most.

Q. "Is there a way to get free banner impressions for a website that I have created?"
A. I too will be interested. If any one knows, please drop me a message.

They pay fast.

Q. "I am wasting time on some sites and need to know how to better spend the time I have. Basically, I want the ABCs of your process, and will gladly be in your downline for any program."
A. I gratefully appreciate your trust, but you still need to be EXTREMELY careful when joining a site: everyone can make mistakes, especially in paid-to. We all learn from our experiences.

Q. "Hello Papy. I am in a lot of PTR sites. Can I get a banner and advertise using the money i have made so far?"
A. Sure you can! Just spend wisely your hard-earned money! If you need to make a banner for yourself, you may try a good free banner-making service.

Q. "Is it possible to earn about $2,000.00 a month with PTR and PTP and not spend all my waking hours doing this?"
A. Not as far as I know.

Q. "What are the advantages and disadvantages in membership upgrading?"
A. Most sites offer advertising benefits to upgraded members, sometimes with a lowered payout. But attention: if a site disappears soon after your upgrading, you will not be entitled to enjoy such benefits.

Q. "I would like to know what kind of reward you give to your downline to join a program under you."
A. I guess you earn from the program instead of from your upline.

Q. "Hi Papy. Do you think I can really earn any money to support myself and family?"
A. No. Believe me, you need a real job.

Q. "Why don't you list bad sites, along with your good sites, so we know which ones to avoid at all costs?"
A. There are simply TOO MANY of them around...

Q. "I shall be highly thankful, if you could please advise me on the best methods to get referrals, as I have not been able to get any downline over the last eight months, in spite of my best efforts."
A. You should advertise. If you do not wish to spend your hard-earned money, I would recommend that you use manual traffic exchange: check my easy-to-read tutorial for more information.

Q. "Hello Papy. Some time ago I read a message from you on TesasTeaMails about point you gave away for members who wanted to upgrade. I like that very much!!! I'm a teacup at the moment and I would like to upgrade to baby tesas. My referrer's username is a3member."
A. Hello. Thank you for your trust in a3member. I have just sent 50,000 points to your account, and added your username in the list of persons receiving help from me in the forum. It is a pleasure to be of any help.

Q. "I work hard on manual traffic exchange, but get only one referral (at TesasTeaMails). How to get more?"
A. Congratulations on the referral! To get more, try to build a site (using their simple tools for beginners) for free at www.freewebs.com, and send visitors to your site where you can tell people how good TesasTeaMails is.

AdPaid,
Papy's strongest recommendation. It is THE best in the industry.

Q. "Many programs do not accept my country. Could you let me know how to earn more?"
A. Personally I think it is unfair to ban an entire country. Luckily, many programs do accept members from all places.
You should try to build a downline. You could purchase, or redeem for, advertising at respected sites. If you do not want to waste your hard-earned money, you could try manual traffic exchanges [it costs no money, but time]: see Papy's tutorial for basic advice.

Q. "You say you are my online friend; it is time to prove it. WebmasterQuest and EasyHits4U, do you gain as many referrals from there as you get at banner advertising?"
A. So you are looking for a proof of the online friendship...
I am not able to produce the number of referrals from these two sites - nor from any of the many other sites I currently have an advertising campaign at -, so it is impossible to make a comparison. However, the number of clicks per 1000 impressions is excellent.

Q. "Is a bank wire the only way to get money out of e-gold? Is it really worth using if you make less than twenty dollars a year in PTR? Is it true that there is no way to convert money from e-gold to paypal?"
A. Most people use an online broker. You can, of course, also exchange money with other fellow surfers or with the owner of your favorite PTR program - but attention, make sure that they are reliable! People usually enjoy receiving e-gold money because it is harder to fund the account.

Q. "I joined TesasTeaMails and discovered a big referral contest running. Is this why you recommend it? To win an important prize?"
A. I started recommending TesasTeaMails before the contest. No referral contest is worth my effort - but an excellent program is. [Of course, I do not mind if an excellent program happens to be running a referral contest.]

Q. "I look through your recommendations now and then. You do not list, recommend or suggest any programs that pay better rates for less work. Why is that?"
A. I too am wondering why. A possible explanation is that I check several black lists, including one maintained by myself.

Q. "I have upgraded my membership at [SITE NAME REMOVED]. Have you heard anything about them? Do they pay?"
A. The site is in a friend's black list. Be careful with your hard-earned money.

Q. "Sorry to see 5StarPromotions go. Why don't you offer to take over the site for Lia?"
A. (1) A successful site is not separable from the person who runs it. (2) Can you imagine to ask Lia as well as 4,000+ members one by one, whether they like someone to take over 5StarPromotions?

Q. "What is the difference between PTP and affiliate pages?"
A. PTP pays more, and is available for free in many places, but you have no control on the content of the page: it often contains popups, and sometimes even a virus. An affiliate page pays less, and you usually need to pay to get one, but YOU are responsible for the content. I personally prefer affiliate pages, because I *hate* popups, and hate to send popups to fellow surfers.

Q. "I was reading that PTR promotes click fraud so I was wondering about your point of view."
A. If, in real life, you rank honesty above anything else, then it should also be so in PTR.

Q. "I have no active referrals in any programs. Can someone like me really make payouts every month without referrals?"
A. (1) To get active referrals, I suggest that you get a free website and use MANUAL traffic exchanges: this is the only way I know that works with no money. (Click to see an example of my free website at Freewebs.com - you do not need to know how to build a website; and my tips for manual traffic exchanges.)
(2) If you have no active referrals, I recommend that you try PTP: with all the points you get at TesasTeaMails, you can easily redeem for advertising your favorite PTP links (for example, DonkeyMails PTP with its no minimum payout).

Q. "Do you think I am able to get $200/month? I am a good finger clicker as long as I get a good and honest site to work for."
A. Believe me, there is no way for a beginner to earn that much at PTR. To improve your earnings, I suggest that you use PTP, or build a good downline.

Q. "I have joined Hits4Pay and E-mailPaysU. Any comments on these programs?"
A. These two are among the oldest paid-to sites, which is all I can say for the moment (I am not a member of either of them).

Q. "Learnt from your site, it is worth to upgrade as soon as possible. How can I do?"
A. I never recommend upgrading, unless you are sure that the program is reliable; you had better be careful with your hard-earned money. Yes, I am upgraded in several sites, but each time I have done a lot of investigations before upgrading.

Q. "I pay for advertising, but I do not get my money back from my downline. What are the best advertising methods?"
A. To improve your advertising results, I suggest that you tell people why you enjoy such and such programs, formulated in your own words (a good personal experience is never printed on a program's front page), and whether you have been paid. Only the truth. In the long term, people will find out that you always pick up the programs offering the best earning potentials.

Q. "Do you know of this program called b*g*n**r.com?"
A. Sorry, I have no idea how it works.

Q. "I see you are offering a $5 bonus to your MatrixMails referrals who upgrade to lifetime gold. I am in your downline, and upgraded to lifetime package gold a month ago. Do I still qualify for the bonus?"
A. Yes, of course.

Q. "Some sites pay me a few cents by paypal, then that same amount is taken out for what says a paypal fee. Yet someone else can pay me that same amount and I get to keep it all. What happens?"
A. My guess is that these sites pay you via a credit-card-based payment, in which case paypal charges you a transaction fee.

Q. "I belong to xxx [NEW PTC SITE NAME REMOVED] because it is much promoted, and am considering to upgrade. Is it worth?"
A. Be VERY CAREFUL before spending your hard-earned money. A program is advertised often because it offers substantial referral commissions or runs referral contests. Also, many programs pay only in the early weeks - and then disappear. I *strongly* recommend that you upgrade only in programs that have been in business for more than a year.

Q. "I see that xxx [SITE NAME REMOVED] is not in your recommendation list any more. Why?"
A. It gives me huge pops, which even my pop-killer does not manage to handle.

Q. "I cannot login to my TesasTeaMails and DonkeyMails accounts. What has happened?"
A. There are several possibilities. (a) If you are shown an error message "MySQL is off" (which often happens at DonkeyMails), it means they have a server problem. Usually the problem lasts a few minutes, and you can log in again. (b) At TesasTeaMails, they delete free members who are inactive for 30 days. To be considered as active, you must click a paid link. (c) TesasTeaMails has a very friendly support forum. You are encouraged to post any of your questions there. Don't forget to mention your username.
